My first zine was "Twisted Fates: A Ninjago Roleswitch au" also as a graphics mod and it was so much fun! Since then I've been an page artist in some other zines like "Better Moments - an Anya Zine" (mouthwashing) and "Lilies of the Valley" (Stardew Valley). That’s why I feel very honoured to be part of this zine, as I’m still far from being very experienced, but I’ve now completed a degree in design!

FAQ

What is a fanzine?
A fanzine (zine for short) is a magazine created by fans to celebrate a character, ship or form of media. Zines can come in both physical and digital formats and typically feature a variety of both art and writing.

Is this zine for free or paid?
The nature of this zine will be determined after the interest check. We will announce if the zine is for free or for charity on our social media channels alongsides the results of the interest check!

What are contributors expected to create for this zine?
Contributors are expected to create at least one polished piece for the zine, depicting Ace Trappola.

Are original characters (including depictions of Ace's brother or Yuu/MC that are not from the official manga or novels) allowed in the zine?
Original Characters are not allowed in the zine. Depictions of Canon Characters with no official design (e.g. Ace's brother or yuuya) are allowed in the zine as long as they don't have distinct design features

Will ships between Ace and other characters (such as adeuce or aceyuu and more) be allowed in the zine?
Ships between ace and the other students are allowed in the zine.

Do I need Zine experience to apply?
No! Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of their level of zine experience!

Can I apply for multiple roles?
Yes, but you will only be accepted for max. 1 role, so that we can include more people in the zine and make sure no one overworks themselves! (If you have a preference to what position you want to be accepted as, please mention it in the contributor application!)

Will the zine feature guest creators?
Yes! the guest line up and spotlights will be posted during the contributor applications period.
